Faith stepped out of town and onto Route One. As soon as she got there, Pidgys and Caterpies galore appeared. Faith ran around them, but then ran straight into a Ralts. The Ralts looked lonely. Faith foolishly threw a poke'ball without weakening the poke'mon, but the poke'mon did not resist. Faith caught it without attacking it.

"Hey Chickorita, I've got you a friend!" Faith told her.

"Go, Ralts" she said, and a red substance appeared and a Ralts came into view. The Ralts looked up at her. The Ralts went over to her and said "Ralts... Ralts" Chickorita walked over there, and seemed to get along with Ralts.

"I've just caught a Ralts!" Faith told the thin air.
